Lori has served as a subject matter expert in health and sexuality education in local schools districts, state boards of education, and state and national legislatures. She provides complete information and clear explanation of complex issues impacting individuals, families, and communities.  

 Lori Kuykendall provided invaluable expertise and guidance during the review and revision of the Health curriculum standards for the state of Texas. She became a trusted advisor for me as a State Board of Education member during that time. Her knowledge about the age appropriateness of sexual education was invaluable! During the approval of the Health textbooks, Lori again rose to the occasion and provided wisdom and direction for the SBOE about content in the materials. Lori is a voice of reason and gives research-based information when discussing issues in sexual education.
